Our Approach

The Collaborative Strategic Planning Model is an approach developed by Patrick Sanaghan, Ed.D of The Sanaghan Group, based out of Doylestown, Pennsylvannia.  Mount Saint Mary College used this approach in the early design of its last Strategic Plan design effort back in 2013-2014.  The hallmarks of this approach are collaboration, meaningful stakeholder engagement, and transparency.  The process is driven by the Planning Task Force (PTF).  This committee is made up of 42 individuals with the predominate constituency being faculty with representation also being drawn from administrators, staff and students.  The PTF is co-chaired by Janine Bixler and Ryan Williams.
