DEI Committee and Bias Response Team
In our commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment, the Bias Response Team (BRT) within the DEI committee serves as a vital resource for addressing various incidents of bias and discrimination that may arise throughout the year.
Who We Are:
The Bias Response Team is comprised of a dedicated group of experts who focus on tackling bias incidents within our campus community. We collaborate with various stakeholders to strategize educational responses, monitor incidents, and connect individuals with supportive resources. It’s important to note that the BRT does not conduct investigations or impose disciplinary actions; instead, we focus on providing support and facilitating resolution through a restorative justice approach.

How to Report an Incident:
If you witness or experience bias based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, or any other protected category, please report it through our Bias Incident Reporting System. You can complete the Bias and Hate Crimes Reporting Form, which enables the BRT to offer support and explore resolution options.
