Mount Saint Mary College will present “Come Out and Play,” a workshop and game event in the college’s Fluet Family Auditorium (Hudson Hall) on Wednesday, November 8 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend this free event. Mount Saint Mary College is located at 330 Powell Ave., Newburgh, N.Y. Comfortable clothes and sneakers are recommended.
The event will be hosted by Pete Vigeant, creative director of the Come Out & Play organization. He will reveal how games are designed and what makes them fun.
As a designer, Vigeant focuses on solving tough problems, making projects fun, designing complete experiences, local multiplayer activations, live interactions, large groups, kids, and education.
Come Out & Play is a New York City-based organization that promotes new forms of street games and play. They run games, events, and festivals that turn city streets into giant playgrounds. They also provide a forum for new types of public games, bring together players eager to interact with the world around them, and speak to designers about producing innovative new games and experiences.
