Earlier this month, Mount Saint Mary College’s Programming and Activities Board recently received the Excellence in Programming Award in the college’s region from the National Association for Campus Activities.
The student recipients were Andrea Austin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Dajon Atkins of Middletown, N.Y.; Sharee Powell of New York City; Patrice Polo of Hartford, Conn.; George Walters of Newburgh, N.Y.; and Emily Moore of Montgomery, N.Y.
“They work hard throughout the year to plan, execute, and run programs for their fellow students,” said Barbara Mulligan, director of Student Activities. “We couldn’t be prouder of them and this much deserved recognition.”
An additional honor was extended to Austin, who received the Kenneth M. Bedini Student Leader Award, which recognizes the outstanding contributions of the region’s undergraduate student leaders who make a difference at their institutions.
