Dina Leduc, assistant director of Health Services and Nurse Practitioner, interviews Claire Newman, clinical counselor at the Mount, for the second episode of the Well-Knights Podcast.
Mount Saint Mary College’s Student Wellness Center recently launched the Well-Knights Podcast.
Hosted by Dina Leduc, assistant director of Health Services and Nurse Practitioner, and produced and edited by Emily Gursky ‘23, the podcast offers students a way to receive bite-sized information to help them learn more about a variety of topics related to health and general well-being.
With topics ranging from self-care and mental health awareness to offering introductions to the college’s on-campus support offices, students are able to learn important wellness information when it’s convenient for them.
The first five episodes are currently available on Soundcloud, with more to come throughout the semester. To listen, visit www.msmc.edu/wellknights.
“All of the amazing guests we have had on the podcast want to help our students succeed, be healthy, and let them know we care about their health and well-being,” Leduc explained. “There are so many on-campus and off-campus resources available to them that I hope they take advantage of.”
