Children between the ages of 5 and 13 can attend four swim classes at Mount Saint Mary College – one each Saturday – starting September 7.
Mount Saint Mary College is offering swimming classes for children ages 5 to 13 from Saturday, September 7 through Saturday, September 28.
The lessons – one each Saturday for a total of four – will take place in the college’s Kaplan Recreation Center pool. All lessons will be taught by a trained member of the Knights Swim Team.

The cost is $100 for group lessons and $150 for pre-competition lessons. If you cannot make it to the first lesson, students may begin on the second Saturday for a prorated cost. Money raised will be used to help fund the Swim Team’s season.
The following times are available for the Saturday group lessons: 9:20 - 9:50 a.m., 10 - 10:30 a.m., 10:40 - 11:10 a.m., and 11:20 - 11:50 a.m.
For pre-competition lessons, children must be between the ages of 9 and 13 and be able to swim one full lap of freestyle and know the backstroke. These lessons will be held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. – noon.
The Knights Swim Team is also offering private lessons for $200 and semi-private lessons for $150 per child. These lessons will take place throughout the week.
