Mount Saint Mary College nursing students take a health assessment lab with nursing instructor Lillian Graham-Cox on September 12.
Mount Saint Mary College was recently named a 2025 Hidden Gem in Nursing by College Raptor, a popular college planning platform.
The honor recognizes the Mount as one of the best colleges in the country based on a combination of factors, including retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, endowment per student, selectivity, and other key metrics as reported via the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for the most recently available enrollment year.
Mount Nursing students consistently score higher than the state average on the NCLEX-RN test, most recently achieving a 100 percent pass rate. Students also benefit from state-of-the-art simulation labs and learning resources, clinical relationships with dozens of area hospitals, and passionate faculty.
“For students seeking the enriching experience of a smaller college with exceptional programs, institutions like Mount Saint Mary College emerge as prime options, and we are honored to spotlight them with the recognition they genuinely deserve,” said William Staib, co-founder and CEO of College Raptor.
The Mount is offering three Open House events for all interested students this semester, with the first on Sunday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be additional Mount Open House events on Sunday, November 10 and Sunday, December 8. Students can register for any of these events at www.msmc.edu/OpenHouse.
