Mount Saint Mary College’s Kaplan Family Library and Learning Center hosted its first ever Mini-Golf event on Friday, September 9.
Mount students grabbed friends and gathered at the greens located on the second floor of the library to putt around on the 9-hole course. After playing and handing in their scorecards, players were entered to win a prize.
Jon Damrau, assistant librarian for Access & Outreach Services explained, “We really want to make the library a welcoming place for students and encourage them to come and spend some time here, just to discover the library and think of it as a place they can go to socialize and have some fun. As well as make it a hub for student life as opposed to just a place to study and find books.”
