Megan Rossi ’12, Study Abroad Coordinator at Mount Saint Mary College, discussed overseas service opportunities with eager students.

From demystifying art theft in Ireland to learning about Shakespeare in the setting of his own life-story, Mount Saint Mary College’s study abroad fair touted a variety of captivating experiences for those looking to expand their horizons.

Held on Thursday, September 12, the fair showcased upcoming Mount trips to Ireland, London, Italy, and Japan, each with the potential to earn college credit.

Several Mount-partnered study abroad organizations were also at the fair, offering a variety of educational experiences in nearly any location a student might want to visit.

Each year, the Mount provides students with study opportunities in New Zealand, Ireland, France, and more. In the summer of 2020, the Mount will host study abroad programs in Ireland and Italy, which will include a variety of courses led by Mount faculty. Students can earn three credits through these faculty-led programs. The application date is December 6, 2019.

The Study Abroad Fair was sponsored by the Mount’s Career Center.
