Douglas Robinson Jr., associate professor of Biology at the Mount (kneeling), discusses some of the plants during his recent hike at Mount Beacon.

Right before the end of the semester, Mount Saint Mary College students, faculty, and staff enjoyed a hike at Mount Beacon. 

The event was hosted by the Knight’s Outdoor Pursuits and Education Program (KOPE).

KOPE is led by Douglas Robinson Jr., associate professor of Biology at the Mount. Robinson is an evolutionary biologist. He has taught classes on animal behavior, ecology, ornithology, vertebrate biology, general biology, environmental science, and human anatomy and physiology.
