She also successfully negotiated the first-ever national broadcast partnership for women’s professional ice hockey in the United States. A transformative sports executive, Tumminia previously served as the Senior Vice President of the Goldklang Group. In this role, she was responsible for marketing and broadscale sponsorship, operations, and communications. She developed the group’s award-winning marketing philosophy, “Be Your Own Fan.” She is responsible for the creation of the Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame, which has been hailed as a game changer in the perception of scouts throughout the local organization. Prior to the Goldklang Group, Tumminia built a strong career in public relations and technology working alongside high-profile clients.
Tumminia was a recipient of the Roland Hemond, MASA, and Marcom awards for excellence in her field, and in 2011 was named Executive of the Year by NYU’s sports management program.
