All treats, no tricks: Bishop Dunn students enjoy Halloween at Mount Saint Mary College

Continuing a longstanding tradition between the two institutions, children from Bishop Dunn Memorial School donned their Halloween costumes and went trick-or-treating at Mount Saint Mary College on Thursday, October 31.

The young students headed through Aquinas Hall, gathering candy from Mount faculty and staff, before heading to the Villa, where the Mount’s admissions offices are housed. Even Dr. Jason N. Adsit, president of the Mount, got in on the fun.

Bishop Dunn, adjacent to the Mount, was founded in 1883. The school is committed to the academic, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical development of children, pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The college maintains a close relationship with Bishop Dunn. Mount Education students do fieldwork at school, under the guidance of seasoned Bishop Dunn faculty. Many Mount grads go on to work at Bishop Dunn, including Principal Nancy Benfer ’04.
