Clubs & Activities
Did you know that only about 20% of your college experience happens in the classroom? What are you going to do with the other 80%? Hopefully study, of course, but besides that, there’s so much to get involved in at the Mount.
So get out of your room and take a leap of faith. At best, you’ll make memories to last a lifetime. At worst, you'll meet new people and maybe make a friend. Sounds like a win-win to us!
Why get involved?
"My favorite thing about being a student at the Mount is being able to get involved in so many different things." - Grace O'Sullivan
"Being involved on campus and participating in all these clubs/organizations have provided a sense of community and belonging which has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally." - Amanda Asare
"I would recommend getting involved in as many things as possible early on and don't be afraid to put yourself out there and talk to others. Joining a sport team or club is a great way to make friends and find other people with the same interests. The more you do, the more fun you'll have!" - Christopher Christiano
The #1 piece of advice that our students share for prospective students is to get involved. It will definitely change your entire college experience for the better.
Events and Trips
Boredom doesn’t exist here. From drive-in movie nights and stuffed animal making to 3D roller coasters and goat yoga, there’s an event practically every day. Oh and bingo is super popular here. That might surprise you, but it won't when you see the awesome prizes you can win!
Looking to get off campus? Thankfully, our programming board organizes weekend trips to local spots like hiking Mount Beacon and the Army football game at West Point or taking a ride to NYC for Broadway musicals, Yankees games, and of course, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The best part is, as a Mount student, you get a steep discount on tickets!
School Spirit Events
If you go to nothing else on campus, these are the must-do events as a Knight.

Orientation
Kick off your college career with an Orientation experience like no other. Yes, you’ll get acclimated to the school, but you'll also meet new friends and learn about the amazing opportunities you'll experience as a Knight!

Spirit Week
We take Battle of the Classes to a whole new level. During the Mount’s Spirit Week each October, each class participates in daily challenges like Powderpuff Football and Battle of the Class Sandwich, leading up to the legendary Mount Olympics event.

Mount Olympics
By far the most popular event on campus each year, you’ll hear the music pumping and the loud cheers echoing from Kaplan Hall on Mount Olympics day. After a night of vicious tug of war, leapfrog, and themed skits, the coveted Mount Olympics trophy is bestowed upon the winning class.

Bonfire
You’ll definitely feel the heat to attend this event. To conclude Spirit Week, we light a huge bonfire in the Guzman Hall parking lot and enjoy fall treats, dancing and performances, and entertainment. Talk about being the spark!

Christmas Tree Lighting
The fall semester concludes with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting and festival. Bounce in an inflatable snow globe, take a spin on our traveling ice skating rink, and drink hot cocoa as we carol the night away.

Spring Week
Celebrate spring with a whole week of events that takes over the entire College! Enjoy BBQs, carnivals, food trucks, giveaways, trips and more as you prepare for the end of the academic year!

Senior Send-Off
We don’t let our seniors leave without one last big party! The few days before Commencement, we have numerous events to gear up to graduation, helping you say goodbye to the Mount and hello to your future.
