Services for Community Members
Physical Library & Computers
Campus guests and community members are welcome to visit the MSMC Library and use library materials on-site whenever the library is open. Designated computers on the 2nd floor near the Check-out Desk are available to visitors for Internet use and access to the library's electronic resources.
Children
Children under the age of 14 may use the library only when accompanied by an adult. Children are not permitted to use library computers.
Borrowing
For a $20 annual fee, community members may purchase a Visitor's Library Card, which entitles the visitor to borrow books from the library. To obtain a Visitor's Card, stop at the Check-out Desk.
NOTE: Anyone with a SUNY Orange ID card or a library card from Newburgh Free Library is eligible for a free Visitor's Card at the MSMC Library, through the Newburgh Library Collaborative. Library services can also be arranged for students at Newburgh Free Academy. Stop at the Check-out Desk, call 845-569-3600, or visit the Newburgh Library Collaborative website for details.
