Time: Feb 3 5:00 PM - Feb 5 5:00 PM
Location: Aquinas 53

Join us on Friday, February 3, at 5:00 pm, to Sunday, February 5, at 5:00 pm, for 48 hours of game creation during the Global Game Jam. This event is free and open to the public.

The Global Game Jam® (GGJ®) is the world's largest game creation event taking place in physical locations across the globe. Think of it as a 48 hour hackathon focused on game development around a theme.

The GGJ mission is to empower individuals worldwide to learn, experiment, and create together through the medium of games.  The annual event begins on Friday late afternoon with video keynotes and advice from leaders in the game development industry. The jam formally begins after an announcement of the year’s theme. All participants are then challenged to make games based on that same theme, with games to be completed by Sunday afternoon. Everyone is invited to take part, no matter your skill level.

The college will be hosting an in-person site in Aquinas 53, allowing participants ample space to collaborate or work independently on creating their game.
