Dr. Sagar is a Transcultural Scholar at the Transcultural Nursing Society; Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine; member of the Nursing Hall of Fame at Columbia University; recipient of the Leininger Award for outstanding leadership in transcultural nursing; and fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
