Margaret Kemp
Director of Disability Services and Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Margaret Kemp (Maggie) is the Director of Disability Services. In this capacity, Maggie assists students with the process of becoming registered in the Disability Services office, reviews student documentation and approves accommodation requests. Maggie also meets with students to discuss their accommodations and helps students utilize to the best of their ability. Maggie also works with students on becoming self-advocates for themselves and their disabilities.
Maggie is a proud alumna of the Mount, Class of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Childhood Education and Special Education. After graduating and moving home to Long Island, Maggie could not stay away from the Mount for too long and began working at the Mount in Disability Services in September of 2017. Maggie also holds a Masters of Arts in Higher Education with a focus on Disability Services from CUNY School of Professional Studies.
Maggie now resides in Warwick, NY with her husband, Patrick, a fellow alum, class of 2015, their twins, Addison and Jackson and their dog Leo. On the weekends, you will find Maggie going on walks with her dog, enjoying scenic Orange County and spending time with friends and family.
