Mount Saint Mary College sits on 60 scenic acres in the heart of the Hudson Valley with easy access to all the area has to offer. Take a virtual look around and explore our campus, and then be sure to stop by for an in-person visit!
The Campus
The Mount Saint Mary College campus is comfortably walkable with easy access to academic, residential, athletic, and student service spaces.

The Dominican Center, named for the Dominican Sisters that founded the college, sits at the highest point on campus. The Kaplan Family Library and the beautiful Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary fill the first two floors, and the top three floors are a residence hall for upperclassmen. They look out on some of the most amazing views on campus!

From the Dominican Center, you can see the Kaplan Family Recreation Center, Whittaker Hall, The Villa, and Aquinas Hall, and that gorgeous Hudson River view.

The Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary is located on the second floor of the Dominican Center.

Aquinas Hall, which includes the Kaplan Math, Science and Technology Center, is the central academic building on campus. It contains classrooms, nursing and science labs, computer labs, a production studio, lecture hall, dining hall, café, faculty offices, a number of student services, and the Aquinas Hall Theatre.

Sakac Hall, named for former president Sr. Ann Sakac, is the first-year student residence hall.

Whittaker Hall was the carriage house for the estate that became Mount Saint Mary College, and retains its original charm. These days, it is where you will find the Social Sciences faculty offices.

At the North end of campus, you'll find the College Courts, a series of residence halls for upperclassmen.

Guzman Hall houses the offices for Admissions, the Registrar, Student Financial Services, Health Services, and the Desmond Center for Community Engagement & Wellness.

The Villa, which was the original home on the estate that became Mount Saint Mary College, houses administrative offices at the center of campus.

Bishop Dunn Memorial School is a private elementary school that serves students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Having a school right on campus is a major benefit for the Mount's education students.
Academic Spaces
The Mount has a wide variety of academic spaces ranging from classrooms to labs to studios.

The Mount's state-of-the-art simulation labs let students experience realistic scenarios long before they see a live patient.

Mac labs with the latest editing and design software are a great resource for students, including those in the digital media production and graphic design programs.

Aquinas Hall and the Kaplan Family Math, Science and Technology Center (MST) house the majority of classrooms and labs. Many of the research poster presentations are held in the bright, airy MST Atrium.

Science labs line the front of the Kaplan Math, Science and Technology Center, hosting classes in everything from anatomy to biology to chemistry.

In the Math and Information Technology area, you'll find specialized labs for networking and cybersecurity.

The production studio features everything needed to setup and shoot professional-level video.

Classrooms feature the technology needed for interactive and engaging classes.

The Kaplan Family Library features print and digital media, helpful librarians, quiet spaces, and private conference rooms that are perfect for collaborating or practicing your presentations.

Education students have access to helpful resources in the Curriculum Materials Center, located in the Kaplan Family Library.

The Kaplan Family Library also features spaces for presentation by students, faculty, and guest speakers.

The Fluet Auditorium in Hudson Hall is a multi-purpose space that is used for everything from conferences and awards presentations to large meetings and student activities.

The third floor of Aquinas Hall features a large art studio for drawing and painting classes.

The 1,100-seat Aquinas Hall Theatre is used for large events and academic milestones, like the nurse pinning ceremonies.
Residence Halls

Sakac Hall is the first-year student residence, located near the north end of the campus. Amenities include common areas, game rooms, a movie room, kitchen, and fitness center — along with incredible views.

Sakac Hall suites have 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms, each equipped with beds, desks, and closets. All suites have a private bathroom.

Suites with 2 or 3 bedrooms also include a common area. 3 bedroom suites have an additional private bathroom.

The top three floors of the Dominican Center are a residence hall, and the first two floors contain the Kaplan Family Library and Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary.

There are a variety of room layouts in the Dominican Center, including standard suites and "Jack and Jill" suites.

The Dominican Center fitness room makes it easy to get in a quick workout without leaving the building.

A kitchen in the Dominican Center residence hall makes it easy to bake and cook when you want to.

The College Courts are a collection of residence halls at the north end of campus.

Upperclassman can choose to live in the College Courts or the Dominican Center.

The College Courts feature common areas, kitchens, laundry, and the Knight Spot, which is a gather place for shows, games, and more.
Student Life
Clubs, events, service opportunities, and student-generated programs provide plenty to do at the Mount.

Mount students share their time and talents with the community in a variety of ways, including volunteering at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center.

In addition to a large dining hall, aptly titled "The View," students can also grab a meal at Henry's Courtside Café or the Aquinas Café, which serves Starbucks coffee.

With Bishop Dunn Memorial School right on campus, Mount students have opportunities to work with the younger students on educational projects from time to time.

The student art gallery in the Kaplan Family Library features a rotating selection of artwork from Mount students.

The Mount's streaming radio station in Hudson Hall features everything needed to put out a broadcast or record a podcast. Students can host a radio show here.

Mass is held during the week and on Sunday's in the Chapel of the Most Holy Rosary in the Dominican Center.

Students will find opportunities to attend graduate school fairs, career fairs, and much more on campus to expand their college experience.

Spirit Week is one of the highlights of the student activities calendar each year. Each year, freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors face off to see who will win Mount Olympics.

The competition is as fun as it is fierce at Mount Olympics.

As part of Spirit Week, students enjoy an Annual Bonfire with activities and performances.

Yoga, and it's fun cousin Goat Yoga, are examples of the types of programs that our student-run Mount Activity Planning board (MAP) likes to run each year.

Spring Weekend provides a chance for students to let loose and have some fun.

Petting Zoos have brought some of our students' favorite visitors to campus.

Athletics
The Mount's Div. III teams make good use of the college's athletics facilities.

Baseball and softball fields are located at the South end of the campus.

The view from the Dominican Center hill provides a scenic backdrop looking down the Hudson River.

The softball field is adjacent to the baseball field, right next to the Dominican Center.

The Knights basketball and volleyball teams play in the Kaplan Recreation Center gym.

Adjacent to the College Courts and Hudson Hall, you'll find the Mount's turf field. The Knights soccer and lacrosse teams can be found here for day and night games.

All students have access to the Kaplan Recreation Center's weight room and cardio room, which supplement several other fitness rooms found in residence halls.

The turf field sees plenty of action throughout the season.

The Knights swim team utilizes a competition-size pool in the Kaplan Recreation Center. The pool is open to the rest of campus when not in use.

Adjacent to Hudson Hall and the Turf Field, you'll find two groups of tennis courts.
Scenic Views
There is no shortage of beautiful sights at the Mount.

The Hudson Valley
The Mount is on the edge of a city with opportunities for shopping, dining, hiking, sports, and the arts within a short commute.

The trendy City of Beacon, with shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, is just across the bridge from the Mount, and also features a favorite hike up Mount Beacon.

A few blocks from the Mount, you'll find a vibrant Newburgh waterfront with riverside dining.

Local creeks and the Hudson River are the frequent subjects of scientific research, offering fieldwork opportunities for Mount students.

There are so many ways to explore the Hudson Valley, from apple picking and hiking to kayaking and boat tours.

Dia:Beacon is a world-class museum that is only a quick trip across the bridge from campus.

The Beacon Train station provides easy access to Metro-North's Hudson Line to New York City and Amtrak's line to Albany and beyond.
