Paid research assistant opportunity for Math majors at MSMC

CARD would like to hire a college student to serve as a research assistant for the first phase of the Math Counts project!

The Center for Adolescent Research and Development (CARD) has been invited by the Newburgh Armory Unity Center to work on a curriculum development project for its Saturday mathematics program, Math Counts. CARD would like to hire a college student to serve as a research assistant for the first phase of the project. 

As an assistant, you would research activities and approaches and assist in the development of lessons for a unit that will be piloted at the Armory during the 2023-2024 school year.

The research assistant will devote 10 hours a week during the Summer I Session (May 22, 2023– June 22, 2023) to this project.

The compensation is a $1,000 stipend, which will paid upon completion of this first phase of the project this summer.
