Mount Saint Mary College was founded by the
Sisters of Saint Dominic in 1959.
The Mount was ranked a Top-Tier Regional University (North) by

Location. Newburgh, New York. The Mount is
conveniently located in the Mid-Hudson Valley,
midway between New York City and New York's capital city,
Albany.
Enrollment/Student Body Profile. Our student
body is made up of 2,700+ students representing over 16 states and
several countries. More than 1,800 are traditional undergraduate
students.
Academic Programs. The Mount offers 47
undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor of arts or
bachelor of science degree. Our collaboration programs offer
you a chance to earn a bachelor's degree, plus an advanced degree
with schools like Fordham University, Pace University, and New York
Medical College. The college also offers master's degrees in education, business,
and nursing.
Faculty. You'll learn from our faculty, the
majority of whom hold a PhD or the highest terminal degree in their

Costs. The Mount is a competitively-priced
private school. Tuition is set at $24,390 for the 2012-13 academic
year; Room & Board is $12,810 (Regular room-Ultimate/Flex Meal
Plan); and Fees equal $1,175 for a total annual cost of
$38,375.
Financial Aid. 94% of the Mount 's
incoming freshman class in 2010 received financial aid in the form of
scholarships, grants, loans, or part-time employment, based on
academic promise or need.
Housing. The Mount's residence halls feature suite-style
living, movie lounges, computer rooms, recreation areas, laundry
facilities, and a workout room. Our upperclassmen live in College
Courts, our townhouse-like apartments on campus. All residence

Athletic Teams. The Mount offers men's
baseball, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, swimming,
tennis, and track and field, and women's basketball, cross country,
lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and
volleyball.
