Mount Saint Mary College has a distinguished collection of
visual art.
Salvador Dali sculptures from Mount Saint Mary College's
permanent collection are on view in the Aquinas Gallery on the
first floor of Aquinas Hall.
The gallery also features nine signed prints by Dali, from a
collection donated to the college in 1984. During a 1963 visit to
Mount Saint Mary College, Dali presented his book DALI: A Study
of his Art-in-Jewels, to Mother Leo Vincent, OP, former Mount
president. His flourishing inscription reads "Hommage de Dali," or
"with his respect."
The Mount organizes an annual Artists on Campus show that
features original paintings, prints, drawings, photography, and
sculpture by numerous artists in the region.
