Mount Saint Mary College is dedicated to helping students and
their families navigate the financial aid process.
More than 94% of the incoming freshman class of 2010 received
some form of financial aid. Over $44 million dollars was
awarded in college, federal, state and private financial assistance
last year.
Affordability
To understand affordability, it is essential to understand net
cost. Net cost is the difference between the published tuition and
fees and the financial aid a student will receive. In other words,
it’s the bottom line.
“Sticker price”, or the published amount for
tuition and fees, can be misleading. Most students will never pay
the full sticker price. Students are awarded grants and
scholarships based on their high school academic career and their
financial need.
