Overview

The business management and administration major provides pre-professional training in business, within the context of a comprehensive liberal arts education. Students will be prepared to work in careers within industry, government or the non-profit sector or to pursue further studies at the graduate level. Many cooperative and internship opportunities exist and students often frame their future careers from these experiences.

Business Management and Administration at the Mount

We've responded to growing student and local business interests with finance and marketing concentrations. A vibrant study-abroad program is also available, enabling you to earn up to 6 undergraduate credits while studying in Dublin, Ireland or other European centers.

Program requirements

Students are required to obtain 27 credits in business, 21 credits in business-related fields, 39 credits in general education, and 33 credits in liberal arts electives. For concentrations, students are required to obtain 18 credits of their 48 major-requirement credits within the concentration area.
