Community Education

The Desmond Campus for Adult Enrichment offers noncredit, life enrichment courses and programs geared toward the adult learner.

You can gain valuable skills, expand your mind, and perhaps find a new interest or vocation. Take a look at our latest offerings in our Spring 2012 Noncredit Classes and Events Catalog.

You can register online, mail in the registration form from the catalog, or call us to register at 845-565-2076.

The Desmond Campus offers noncredit courses in the day, evening, and in Saturday sessions at the college’s beautiful Desmond Campus in Balmville.

The center aims to maintain a balance between the practical and cultural aspects of learning. We also offer courses designed for adults age 55 and older called Learning is Forever Enriching (LIFE), and we offer the Road Scholars program at our campus every summer.

The LIFE program offers many day trips and explorations throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley that feature the arts, history, architecture, literature, music, the Hudson River, and many other topics. We encourage and welcome suggestions for new courses, programs, and seminars.

Find out more about our Road Scholar and LIFE (+55) programs, and our noncredit courses. Call us for more information at 845-565-2076, or email desmondcampus@msmc.edu.
