Above, IMPROVocative performed in the Curtin Memorial Library
during Library Week 2012.
IMPROVocative, Mount Saint Mary College Theatre’s new
improvisation group will present its first show March 22 at 8 pm,
Hudson Hall on campus, 330 Powell Avenue.
True improvisation involves getting on stage and performing
without any preparation or planning, said James Phillips, assistant
professor of theatre and organizer of the new group.
Cast members include: Joyce Hausermann, Saugerties; Tom Kellett,
New Hampton, NY; Liliana Peralta Zapata, Bronx, NY; Billy Biersack,
Fishkill, NY; Tom Fallon, Mineola, NY; Alexander Florez, Madison,
NJ; Camille Gandolfini, Newburgh, NY; Arianna Guevara, New Windsor,
NY; Sarah Fulton, Cornwall, NY; Erin-Therese Vecchi, Levittown, NY;
Brandon Lillard, Massapequa, NY; Genesis Valverde, Bronx, NY; and
Megan Panagia, Midland Park, NJ, as stage manager.
