Newburgh, NY -

An adult degree information session for individuals interested
in advancing their careers and boosting their earning potential
will be held at Mount Saint Mary College on April 26 from 5 to 7 pm
at the Office of Continuing Education, 361 Powell Avenue,
Newburgh.
With the most economical tuition in the Hudson Valley, the
Mount's accelerated adult degree program provides students 24 and
over with flexibility and value.
Adults can earn an accelerated degree in accounting, history,
human services, interdisciplinary childhood education, psychology,
nursing, or RN to BSN, the college’s new program for working
registered nurses who want to advance their careers by leveraging
their experience. The blended online course features interactive
modules and only one day per week in class.
The RN to BSN program allows credit for RN experience. Nurses
can earn a 30-credit waiver toward the bachelor of science in
nursing (BSN) degree upon successful completion of the Mount’s
Foundations of Nursing bridge course.
The hybrid online business and nursing programs blend the best
of traditional classroom instruction with the convenience of online
learning.
To facilitate the transfer of credits, Mount Saint Mary College
has special agreements with community colleges in Orange, Dutchess,
Westchester, Rockland, Sullivan, and Ulster counties, as well as
graduate schools.
