Newburgh, NY -

For the convenience of busy adults, Mount Saint Mary College
will hold information sessions on both sides of the Hudson River,
February 1 from 5 to 7 pm.
The sites are the Office of Continuing Education, 361 Powell
Avenue, Newburgh, and the Beacon Theatre, 445 Main Street in
Beacon, NY.
With the most economical tuition in the Hudson Valley, the
Mount's accelerated adult degree program provides students 24 and
over with flexibility and value.
Business degree courses will be offered at the Beacon Theatre's
renovated upstairs classroom space beginning in March 2012. The
balance of coursework is accessed through the Mount’s online
learning system.
The Mount’s hybrid business program blends the best of
traditional classroom instruction with the convenience of online
learning. Adults attend classes just one evening per week, taught
by full-time professors and outstanding leaders in the business
community.
Adults can earn a bachelor’s degree in business management and
administration in as little as two years, and can expedite the path
to a master of business administration (MBA).
The Newburgh information session will focus on adult bachelor's
degree programs in accounting, history, human services,
interdisciplinary childhood education, psychology, nursing, or RN
to BSN, the college’s new program for working registered nurses who
want to advance their careers by leveraging their experience. The
blended online course features interactive modules and only one day
per week in class.
Mount Saint Mary College also offers master’s degrees in
education and nursing, and a number of bachelor’s degree
programs.
To facilitate the transfer of credits, Mount Saint Mary College
has special agreements with community colleges in Orange, Dutchess,
Westchester, Rockland, Sullivan, and Ulster counties, as well as
graduate schools.
