The front of Sakac Hall faces the campus and the back overlooks
the Hudson River.
Sakac Hall is a recently built co-ed freshmen residence hall
with magnificent views of campus and the Hudson River.
Every floor in Sakac Hall has a lounge area with a bathroom and
study area. Sakac Hall offers a movie theater room, laundry room,
computer room, vending machines, fitness room, as well as a fully

Each bedroom has been created to house three residents.
Depending on the requests for housing, at times we may be able to
assign two residents to a bedroom.
The rooms are configured as follows:

with chairs, dressers, two closets, and a full bathroom
- Two-Bedroom Suite: Two separate bedrooms off
of a common living area with a couch and/or two chairs, table, and
communal closet. Each bedroom has two or three beds, desks with
chairs, dressers, and two closets. Private bathrooms are located
off the common living area.
- Three-Bedroom Suite: Three separate bedrooms
off of a common living area with a couch, one or two chairs, table,
and communal closet. Each bedroom has two beds, desks with chairs,
dressers, and two closets. Two private bathrooms are located off
the common living area.

Phone, Cable TV, and Wireless Internet Access Information
Each bedroom has a phone number which both roommates share;
however, each resident is given their own unique code for billing
purposes. Phones and voicemails are not provided. We suggest
bringing an answering machine.
There is a wireless network that works with desktop computers
and laptops. An FAQ will be mailed out by our IT department, but
there is a one-time cost for the network card and program to be
self installed on the computer. The card can be purchased at the
bookstore.
Each bedroom also has cable TV access. Students wishing to use
the cable system must provide their own TV and coaxil cable. If you
have TIVO, bring it with you! TIVO is compatible with our cable
system.

The main lounge on the first floor of Sakac Hall includes a
kitchen.

The movie theater is located in the basement level of Sakac
Hall.
