
The Mount's Video Club produces and
edits material in the Mount's production center and video editing
lab. The Video Club participates in a communication arts video show
each spring.
Mount students take top prize in film competition!
Yesterday, the winners of the Eli Jaffe 2012 film competition
were announced. MSMC media studies – production majors Meghan Darcy
and Maureen Tilton won for their senior thesis production,
Newburgh Unity Center Needs Your Help.
The competition for the award included entries from Vassar, New

Congratulations to Maureen and Meghan! Special commendations to
Dean Goldberg for all of his contributions for all he does for
these and all our production majors.
The Gillespie Forum was founded in 1988 by June Gillespie in
memory of her husband Aaron Gillespie. Its mission is to inform and
engage the community by presenting viewpoints, programs and
speakers on significant issues. The Forum cooperates with local
colleges and organizations to host events, lectures and film
screenings on diverse topics ranging from the crisis in
contemporary media to the Holocaust, and from Franklin and Eleanor
Roosevelt to terrorism.
