Newburgh, NY -
Tiffany
O’Leary (right), curriculum librarian at Mount Saint Mary College,
and Meagan O’Gallagher, library intern, sort through some of the
450 children’s books donated by Mount students, faculty, and staff
during the college’s Library Week Book Drive. Children at Head
Start of Eastern Orange County, on Gidney Avenue, and Sacred Heart
School on South Robinson Street, both in Newburgh, NY, will benefit
with new books to read in school and at home. English major
O’Gallagher, a senior from Sound Beach, NY, credits her internship
at Curtin Memorial Library on campus with helping her to decide to
pursue library science in graduate school.
