The Mount offers both financial aid and scholarships
opportunities for transfer students. These include:
Transfer Merit Scholarships
High-achieving transfer students with GPA of 2.5 or better may
qualify for an award:
GPA Award
2.5–2.99: $2,000
3.0–3.49: $4,000
3.5 plus: $6,000
Resident Grant: Students who live on campus
will receive an additional $2,000 Resident Grant.
Transfer Honors Scholarship
Mount Saint Mary College is reaching out to help community
college graduates attain bachelor's degrees. The College will award
six half tuition Transfer Honors Scholarships per academic year to
one graduate from each of the following community colleges:
Dutchess County, Orange County, Rockland County, Ulster County,
Westchester County, and Nassau County community colleges. Read more

Please note that receiving a transfer honors scholarship
renders a student ineligible for a merit
scholarship.
Need-based
aid
Students who do not meet the 2.5 GPA criteria, but have
financial need may qualify for an MSMC Grant of up to $4,000* per
year. All students should file a Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible to determine eligibility
for federal, state, and MSMC Grants.
Students can visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to file online,
as it allows for quicker processing. Note: The
Mount’s school code is 002778.
