Sponsored by the Catholic & Dominican Institute at Mount
Saint Mary College, Brother Ignatius Perkins presented a lecture
entitled "Healing at the End of Life: A Message of Hope for the
Christian Community."
Brother Perkins spoke to the community at large as well as to
many students and faculty from the Nursing Division at the
Mount. His presentation was followed by an extended question
and answer period, in which he explained the ways in which the
Dominican charism may be a powerful tool in bringing peace and
dignity to human suffering, especially near the end of life.
