Gain work experience around the world!
International internships can provide innovative education
programs that broaden academic perspectives, promote global
awareness, and encourage personal development while laying the
foundation for participants to become engaged world citizens.
Internships combine practical work experiences with academic majors
and career goals. Nothing can add a professional dimension and
powerful credentials to a student’s education better than an
internship experience.

Academics International Internships are experiential education

international host organizations. Students complete a professional
portfolio with the Career Center and interview via Skype or
telephone with potential organizations. Host organizations submit
job descriptions that must be approved for academic credit by the
appropriate division faculty. Students work a minimum of 135 hours
to earn 3 academic credits or 270 to earn 6. Registration for the
internship is done through the Career Center prior to
departure.
Student Experience: In addition to providing
top-notch educational opportunities, MSMC is dedicated to the
student’s holistic experience while abroad. We have highly
qualified academic support and a full-time site director, who
oversees the safety and well being of our students. A knowledgeable
staff is quick to respond to any and all emergencies that may
arise, night or day, and can direct students to local resources. In
addition, the staff plans social events, trips and activities for
students to do in their free time.
Requirements: Students must have a minimum GPA
of 2.5, completed more than 12 undergraduate credits, submit a
resume, official transcript, and two (2) letters of

How to Apply: Before December 15, 2013,
all students must participate in a info session through the Career
Center (AQ151). After the Career Center portfolio is complete,
students then work with the Office of International Programs to
complete their application. Once the application is submitted
and accepted, the interview process will begin.
