How do I get to the Mount?
Mount Saint Mary College is located at 330 Powell Avenue in
Newburgh, NY, overlooking the Hudson River, minutes from I-84 and
the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, Stewart International Airport, the
Beacon Train Station and the Newburgh Bus Station.
From the West: Take I-84E to Exit 10. At
the bottom of the ramp take a right onto 9W South. At the first
traffic light take a left onto North Plank Road. (You'll see a
large Sunoco gas station at this intersection.) Stay on North Plank
Road 1/4 mile and turn right at the first traffic light onto Powell
Avenue. The College is about 1/4 mile further on your left.
From the North or South: Take the Garden
State Parkway or Route 17 North to the New York State Thruway
(I-87N-Albany). Follow the Thruway to Exit 17-Newburgh. Take I-84E
and follow the directions for traveling to campus "From the
West."
From the East: Take I-84W to the second exit
after the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge (Exit 10S). At the bottom of the
ramp make a right onto Route 32 and then another right at the first
traffic light onto 9W South. At the second traffic light, take a
left onto North Plank Road. (You'll see a large Sunoco gas station
at this intersection.) Stay on North Plank Road 1/4 mile and turn
right at the first traffic light onto Powell Avenue. The College is
about 1/4 mile further on your left.
Where should I park?
Employers will be able to unload their cars in front of the
Kaplan Athletic Center and will then be directed by MSMC security
officers to parking.
Is lunch provided?
The registration fee includes lunch for two. Additional lunches
may be purchased for $15 per person. Lunch begins at 12 noon in the
Kaplan Athletic Center.
What time is the Employment Fair?
The Employment Fair schedule is as follows:
- 11:45 am Set-up, lunch and welcome
- 1–4 pm Fair opens to students
How can my organization register to attend?
Organizations may register
online to attend the 13th Annual Employment Fair after January
7, 2013. The registration fee is $75 and includes lunch for
two, a table and two chairs.

Where can I find general information on MSMC?
Mount Saint Mary College is a private, Catholic, four-year
liberal arts college founded by the Sisters of Saint Dominic of
Newburgh in 1959. The Mount is committed to providing an education
