Mount Students Honored, Receive Scholarships

Mount nursing students provide medical support and supplies in the Dominican Republic.

Congratulations to three local Mount students and two incoming Mount freshmen who received scholarships at the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Breakfast.

• William Biersack, studying childhood education, was awarded a Richard W. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship.
• Daniel Beers, a current nursing student, was awarded an Eileen Hickey Nursing Scholarship.
• Rebecca Sylvestre, a current nursing student, was awarded an Eileen Hickey Nursing Scholarship.
• Amanda Harden, an incoming freshman education student in the Class of 2016 was awarded an Athena Scholarship.
• Caitlyn Seibold, an incoming freshman nusing student in the Class of 2016,  was awarded an Athena Scholarship.

Congratulations and well done to Mount students, and all who were honored at this breakfast. We thank the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce for recognizing these outstanding students' achievements.
