An adult degree information session for individuals interested
in advancing their careers and boosting their earning potential by
completing a bachelor’s degree, will be offered Thursday, June 14
at Mount Saint Mary College from 5 to 7 pm at the Office of
Continuing Education, 361 Powell Avenue, Newburgh.
Concurrently, a graduate session on the Mount’s master’s
programs in business, nursing and education will be held in the
Villa library, 330 Powell Avenue. The Mount offers a continuum of
study in these fields, with bachelor’s as well as advanced
degrees.
With the most economical tuition in the Hudson Valley, the
Mount's accelerated adult degree program provides students 24 and
over with flexibility and value.
Adults can earn an accelerated degree in accounting, history,
human services, interdisciplinary childhood education, psychology,
nursing, or RN to BSN, the college’s new program for working
registered nurses who want to advance their careers by leveraging
their experience. The blended online course features interactive
modules and only one day per week in class.
The hybrid online business and nursing programs blend the best
of traditional classroom instruction with the convenience of online
learning.
To facilitate the transfer of credits, Mount Saint Mary College
has special agreements with community colleges in Orange, Dutchess,
Westchester, Rockland, Sullivan, and Ulster counties, as well as
graduate schools.
