Lauren C. Preiato joined the Mount Saint Mary College admissions team in January 2013 as the associate director of admissions. Lauren graduated from Port Jervis High School. She then attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and political science.
Lauren completed her master’s in business administration with a concentration in management at Mount Saint Mary College in 2007. She also joined the MBA division at the Mount as an adjunct instructor in 2009 and teaches the “Writing for Management” course to graduate business students part-time.
Before joining the Mount, Lauren worked at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY for almost eight years and left the college as the associate director of admissions. While at the CIA, she managed the on-campus admissions team who specialized in working with international students and veterans. While there, she also worked closely with the CIA marketing team to assist in design and messaging for admissions marketing materials.
Lauren and her husband reside in Dutchess County. Together, they have a daughter and a black lab named Aspen.
