Bio
Professor Schulmerich has many years of experience in Critical
Care, Emergency Services, and Operating Room as a staff nurse and
first and middle management in community and teaching
hospitals.
She has experience in senior level management as Executive
Director of Montefiore Medical Center Home Health Agency (Bronx,
NY) and Vice President of Community Health Services at Elant
(Goshen, NY).
Professor Schulmerich brings a wealth of experience to the
College, and an understanding of what being a Registered
Professional Nurse means in practice, advocacy, and
professionalism. Students consistently acknowledge how much they
learn in all the classes she teaches. She has taught formally or in
continuing education for the better part of four decades and looks
forward to helping students reach their academic potential and
goals.
